That's why we created Cellular South SchoolCheck™, an opt-in alert service. Subscribers to this service will be sent alerts on special events, faculty announcements, school closings, and other things that are important to you and your community.

No, there are no fees associated for SchoolCheck alerts. However, to receive text alerts you must have a text messaging plan from Cellular South.

Can I opt out of SchoolCheck™ alert texts at any time?

Absolutely. The easiest way to opt out is reply STOP to any SchoolCheck text message. You will immediately be removed from the program.
Can I get alerts if I am not a Cellular South customer?

Anyone can get email alerts. The text alert option is currently for Cellular South subscribers with an active text messaging plan.
