Not only does Cellular South have the best price on the Hero ( $99 ), but they also offer some of the cheapest smartphone plans around. Customers can get unlimited everything for $79 a month or 500 minutes with unlimited text+web for $49.99. Users who add a 2nd smartphone plan to their account will receive a half-off discount. Cellular South also has an excellent discover center which features about a dozen videos geared towards Android beginners. Cellular South picked the HTC Hero a few weeks ago, and today they started accepting pre-orders for the smartphone. And the best part is that there is a "good" deal to go with it, related to the monthly plans.

Cellular South coverage is fantastic and always has been. My parents have coverage with AT&T and there coverage is not as good. I have been many places and still able to get great coverage no matter where I travel...I will definitely try the Hero and give up the blackberry.
