  2. Enter the short code 311
  3. Type a question containing no more than 160 characters
  4. Send the text message

What is Text CS?
Text CS is a free text-for-help service. Text your question to 311 and a Cellular South representative will text back the answer. If the question can't be answered in a 160-character text message, you will be directed to additional information at celluarsouth.com or contacted by phone.

Who can use Text CS?
All smartphone users - regardless of your plan
All AdvancePay customers - regardless of your phone

What do I need to use Text CS?
A text messaging feature is required to use Text CS. Text messaging may already be part of your plan, or you can subscribe to it separately.

Is there a charge for sending or receiving Text CS messages?
There are no charges for text messages sent to or received from 311.

How long will I have to wait for an answer?
You should receive a reply approximately five minutes after sending your question; however, some questions could take longer to answer.

Please note that questions are answered Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Questions submitted outside of these hours will be answered the next business day.
