I have been with cell south for 3 or 4 years, recently I switched our entire company over to cellular south because the plans are really good and I was extremely impressed with my new htc hero. The one thing we noticed was the coverage was 1000% better than ATT and my dad fell in love with the apps.... There were a few problems on the front side none caused by cellular south just a 60 year old man working an advanced phone such as the Hero. The network reliability is very cool and the customer service is awesome! Switching to cell south has allowed us to save $300.00 per month while increasing the amount of features we have, such as data on 4 of the phones. We are really pleased. Frank our business sales rep was one of the most helpful people in making the transition; he made it smooth and easy. I tell everyone to switch to cellular south because in my mind there is no other cellular provider in the U.S. I get service where the ATT phones never would even when out on the road and the 3g coverage makes it all the more better!

My first experience with a 3G network was on BlackBerry with AT&T. I didn't know any better, but what I had seemed to work just fine - I was paying too much for minutes I wasn't using, but it wasn't horrible. But then along comes CSouth with their $50 smart phone plan, which fit perfectly into everything I used a phone for. So I make the switch going from a BlackBerry Pearl on the AT&T network to the exact same phone on CSouth's 3G network. The first thing I noticed was how much faster CSouth's network is than AT&T's. I'll be a BlackBerry CellularSouth user for many years to come.

I am MORE THAN THRILLED with MY CELLULAR SOUTH COVERAGE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE--FOR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING REASONS!) I was with one of the Big Boys SINCE 1997. I travel THROUGHOUT the U.S. and two or three times a year, overseas. I had dropped calls, all over Hattiesburg. 'Had poor service and large blackout areas on Hwy 49 between the coast and H'burg...and on Hwy 98 between H'burg and Mobile. At my second property outside of Nashville, I had NO SERVICE from this large company, WHATSOEVER! BUT...NO MORE! In fact, since I got rid of SPRINT (OOOPS! DID I SAY THAT?!) I have not had ONE DROPPED CALL--NOT ONE--on my new CELLULAR SOUTH UNLIMITED TALK, TEXT, WEB! (And my rate is HALF what it was with SPRINT!) I REALLY CAN'T BELIEVE IT! IT'S LIKE I MOVED FROM A "MODEL T" ANALOGUE ENVIRONMENT TO A FULL BLOWN, 99.9% RELIABILITY DIGITAL NETWORK! Oh! I'm not only EXTREMELY PLEASED with my service from CELLULAR SOUTH, I need to tell you about the UNETHICAL CHARGES SPRINT PUT ON MY MONTHLY BILLING for OVER THREE YEARS AFTER MY FATHER PASSED AWAY! THEY "RESERVED" HIS PHONE NUMBER--ALTHOUGH I TOLD THEM NOT TO--IN CASE I EVER WANTED TO ACTIVATE IT AGAIN. I KEPT SEEING A MONTHLY "MISCELLANEOUS CHARGE" for $118. (That's NOT $18--it's ONE HUNDRED, EIGHTEEN DOLLARS PER MONTH!) I called EVERY MONTH for almost a year--and NO ONE COULD TELL ME WHAT THE CHARGE WAS FOR! NO ONE! THEN, I CALLED ABOUT ONCE EVERY THREE MONTHS DURING THE SECOND AND THIRD YEARS OF SEEING THAT CHARGE...AND, STILL, NO ONE COULD TELL ME.FINALLY, AFTER MORE THAN THREE YEARS, I GOT ONE CSR ON THE PHONE WHO SAID, "THAT'S REALLY WEIRD TO BE PAYING $118 PER MONTH FOR SOMETHING WE CAN'T EVEN TELL YOU WHAT IT IS! (NO KIDDING! THAT'S WHAT I HAD BEEN SAYING TO SPRINT FOR THREE YEARS--PLUS!!!) WHEN SHE RETURNED, SHE SAID IT WAS A MONTHLY CHARGE FOR "RESERVING A PHONE NUMBER" (MY DEAD FATHER'S PHONE NUMBER THAT I HAD ALREADY TOLD THEM WE WOULD NEVER USE AGAIN!). THE FACT IS: SPRINT CHARGED ME NEARLY $4,000 OVER THREE YEARS FOR MY DEAD FATHER'S CANCELLED AND UNUSED PHONE NUMBER! AND AFTER THEY CONFESSED WHAT THEY HAD "SECRETLY DONE", THEY REFUSED TO REFUND THE OVERCHARGES--EVEN THOUGH I HAD TOLD THEM NOT TO RESERVE HIS PHONE NUMBER. FURTHERMORE, THEY WOULD NOT APPLY THE $4,000 IN OVERCHARGES TO FUTURE SERVICE. THANK GOD, MY CONTRACT FINALLY EXPIRED! EVERY TIME I SEE SPRINT'S CEO ON TV DESCRIBING HIS COMPANY, I WANT EQUAL TIME TO TELL THAT SAME AUDIENCE HE HAS JUST INFLUENCED...WHAT A TERRIBLE, UNETHICAL COMPANY HE RUNS...and HOW POOR THEIR COVERAGE IS COMPARED TO CELLULAR SOUTH! I'M SO GLAD FOR THE GREAT SERVICE I, NOW, RECEIVE FROM CELLULAR SOUTH! I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER! MANY, MANY THANKS!

In 2007 I came to NY to work and at that time you didn't have the unlimited nationwide plans. So I changed to Verizon and later to T-mobile. With those companies, sometime I didn't get a signal and dropped more calls than I care to remember. As soon as you all got on board with the unlimited nationwide, I switched and how I have the same high quality service I had prior to my move.

I feel sorry for the people in my office because they complain about dropping calls. I think back to the days before Cellular South when dropping a call was a daily occurrence. I get great signal in Memphis and whenever I roam and dropped calls are virtually non-existent. It is fun to go to place and have a signal and the residence of that area are surprised. That has happened to me several times. And most times they are with the "Big National Companies". I can't wait to try out your 3G network.

During Hurricane Katrina, August 2005, I was with a different cellular company. Living in a rural area, I had to stand in the middle of my driveway to talk on it, and I had totally lost service because of the hurricane.. But others in my neighborhood had service. I kept trying and trying to use my phone, with no luck.. Finally, on the third day, I called Cellular South, and when I could get to the local Cellular South store, I changed my service. I have been with Cellular South since then, and I have NEVER had a dropped call, and have ALWAYS received GREAT SERVICE when I had to go into the store to upgrade or what ever. I actually just replaced my original phone this year. Only because it died... And now I am adding internet for my laptop.

Thanks Cellular South for a great company I can depend on. It means a lot when you live in or travel through a rural area and you don't have to worry if you will have service.
