The Cellular South Foundation
About the Cellular South Foundation
The Cellular South Foundation is a private foundation funded by Cellular South, Inc.
Cellular South shareholders and employees have made community service a top priority since the company was founded in 1988. In all our community efforts, our goal is to improve the quality of life in the communities we serve. We do this by targeting areas such as academic, athletic, health, wellness, safety, civic and scholarship programs that improve lives and help communities thrive. Our primary community focus is on improving opportunities for education in Mississippi.
Since 1997, the Cellular South Foundation has played an integral role in the philanthropic efforts of the company.
Our Mission
The mission of the Cellular South Foundation is to provide grants to Mississippi Institutions of Higher Learning in order to help advance college education opportunities at these universities. We also consider supporting 501(c)(3) tax exempt organizations which are committed to improving the quality of life in the markets we serve with special prioritization given to those entities that do so with a motivation to serve Christ through their respective endeavors.
Core Values
Cellular South's success as a company is built on our vision to be the best service provider in the region, as well as our core value of doing things the right way for our customers and employees. Whether it is feeding the hungry, mentoring students or sponsoring community events, hundreds of Cellular South employees are inspired to serve their communities through volunteerism and community grants. It's that passion and work ethic that exemplifies the heart of our employees and the work supported by the Cellular South Foundation.
