Work/Life Balance

At Cellular South, we work hard to create an environment where all employees feel energized, supported, challenged and rewarded. We want each of our team members to be empowered to do his or her best work - and to succeed in meeting not only the needs of our business, but their own personal needs as well. That's exactly why we provide a variety of valuable paid-time-off benefits. Click on a category below to show/hide details.

Vacation

Paid time off for vacation is provided. Employees are encouraged to take time off for recreation and relaxation, and return to work refreshed and invigorated.

Personal Days

Personal days allow eligible employees to use paid leave to handle personal business or emergencies, or to observe other important days or holidays of their choosing.

National Holidays

Cellular South observes six national holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

While our retail stores are closed on Sundays, and the above-mentioned national holidays, several departments within our Company continue to operate during these times. Employees in Retail Sales, Customer Contact Centers, Revenue Assurance, Network Service and System Support departments typically rotate shifts on these days in order to provide the necessary level of customer service. All other positions may be required to work weekends as needed.

Sick Leave

Sick time replaces income for eligible employees when work is missed due to an illness of the employee or an immediate family member, and/or doctor's appointments and funerals.

Maternity Leave

Eligible employees are entitled to three weeks of paid maternity leave, starting on the day the employee gives birth to the child.

Disaster Preparedness

An important part of our commitment to our customers includes restoration of our network capacity in the event of a disaster. Many times, wireless is the only means of communication available in the event of a disaster, and it is important for prospective employees to understand they may be called in to work after they have secured the safety of their family.
