GULFPORT, Miss. - (July 25, 2005) – The Cellular South MS JR Hardcourt Open Championships have been rescheduled for November 11-13, 2005, at Bayou Bluff Tennis Club in Gulfport. The tournament, originally scheduled in July, was canceled due to Hurricane Dennis.
The new tournament has been posted on the USTA link site, http://tournaments.usta.com, with ID number 703808905. Players may only enter one singles division which has a feed-in consolation. Online registration is available from Oct. 1 through Nov. 6, 2005. Players not registered for the July tournament are still eligible to sign up for this tournament.
All players who originally signed up in July must confirm their registration in the November tournament by contacting tournament director Macky Dominiguez or referee Kris Stahlberg by phone (228) 896-9166, fax (228) 896-9168 or e-mail at bayoubluff@cableone.net. Those not able to play in November are entitled to a full refund of the entry fee.
