"Cellular South provides flat-rate, unlimited plans, nationwide digital coverage, and a world-class voice and data network so customers can communicate without worry, whenever the urge strikes," said Mark Prince, area manager. "Our philosophy is all about making wireless simple and hassle-free, and that includes a customer's entire experience with us, from retail or online shopping to streamlined, uncomplicated bills that never surprise."

The 3,400-square-foot store is designed to create an improved retail experience for customers, with products displayed for easy accessibility and independent shopping, live phones for customers to test and explore features, and a customer care center.

"We're dedicated to providing our customers the best service possible, and that service starts with a comfortable, efficient shopping experience, backed by a friendly, knowledgeable sales staff," said Prince.

Cellular South has invested more than $400 million in its wireless network since 1999. In addition, a $56 million network expansion currently is underway that includes the deployment of more than 154 new cell sites, with 110 of those slated for Mississippi. The company's CDMA third generation digital wireless network provides seamless coverage with no roaming charges from the Memphis Metropolitan Area, throughout all of Mississippi, along Coastal Alabama and the Florida Panhandle to Walton County.

CDMA technology and additional cell sites further improve call quality and coverage inside office buildings and homes, network clarity, and capacity to accommodate voice and data traffic. Cellular South's family of flat-rate services includes unlimited local calling, unlimited nationwide long distance, and Unlimited Nationwide Text Messaging.

As part of its commitment to improving the quality of life in communities it serves, Cellular South supports several local events and organizations in Tupelo including Cellular South's Networking @ Noon, a monthly speaker series and business networking opportunity in conjunction with the Downtown Tupelo Main Street Association and The GumTree Museum of Art; the Cellular South GumTree Festival and the Cellular South Teen Success Program, a new leadership program for Tupelo/Lee County teens administered by the CREATE Foundation.

In addition, Cellular South supports the Lifeline Assistance program designed to make phone services available to qualifying applicants receiving income-based benefits.
