Stores Are Open Along the Mississippi Gulf Coast and South Mississippi

JACKSON, Miss. - (September 4, 2005)Latest Cellular South developments:

  • Cellular South's network is up and running in South Mississippi and the Gulf Coast. The Cellular South Emergency Task Force continues to work around the clock to ensure communication for everyone. (See attached Cellular South coverage map of the restored service area, as of September 5, 2005.)
  • Due to the impact of the hurricane on many Cellular South retail employees, the company has deployed relief teams to assist in opening stores and manning tents in the affected area. Free calls and cell phone charging facilities are being offered at the following locations.
