Grand opening activities on August 17 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Jackson, Miss. (August 14, 2006) – Cellular South, the nation's largest privately held wireless provider, announces the opening of a wireless sales kiosk inside the Houston Wal-Mart on Thursday, August 17. Kiosk hours will be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Grand opening activities include free refreshments, door prizes and a radio remote with Wizard-106 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. In conjunction with the grand opening, Cellular South will offer new customers, and current customers activating new lines, one Motorola Razr for $99 and a second Motorola Razr at no cost. Additionally, the company is offering free activation with the activation of two or more lines. This offer is available August 17-19.
In addition to adding retail locations, the company continues to expand its wireless network in Northeast Mississippi.
"Cellular South has added 35 new cell sites in Northeast Mississippi this year and will add 21 more sites in the remaining months of 2006," said Prince. "We're focused on improving existing coverage and providing coverage in rural areas that other wireless carriers often ignore.
